Traverse the captivating coastline of the Island of Tears as we paddle beneath the iconic four tower bells and alongside the historic Rab fortification walls. Afterward, indulge in a leisurely swim break and savor refreshing beverages at a charming local bar.
This experience offers the perfect way to spend your morning, immersing yourself in adventure and exploration while soaking in the beauty of Rab Island's coastline.

However, it is important to note that our plans are flexible and may be subject to adjustments based on local weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances. This flexibility ensures that we can adapt to changes in wind, waves, and other environmental factors, prioritizing the safety and enjoyment of our participants above all else
09:30 Upon your arrival, we'll provide you with dry bags, essential for storing extra clothes, towels, and food during our adventure. A 20-liter dry bag will accommodate your essentials. Following packing, our expert guides will conduct a 10-minute session on safety protocols and paddling techniques to ensure a secure and enjoyable journey.
10:00 Our initial 2-kilometer paddle leads us towards Rab, passing by the small island of Sv. Juraj, is famously known as the Island of Tears. From this vantage point, enjoy a spectacular view of the town of Rab. We'll pause briefly at the town's beach of Banova Villa and the nearby bar of the same name, where you can rejuvenate with ice cream, coffee, or a cold drink. This break is subject to beach availability, especially during peak seasons. Continuing on, we'll navigate to the bay of Komunčica, situated on the Frkanj peninsula, also known as the Island of Love. Here, we'll tether our kayaks for a short siesta, offering opportunities for refreshments and a swim.
12:30 As we paddle back, savor the sight of the four tower bells rising majestically, resembling a tall ship with four masts, against the backdrop of the Velebit mountains.

Children up to the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and ride in a double kayak.
Please be aware that we primarily use double kayaks, reserving single kayaks for uneven group numbers or experienced paddlers. Additionally, individuals not from the same group will not be paired in a double kayak unless specifically requested.
Included in your package:
Equipment: single or double sea kayaks, each accompanied by a PFD (life vest), paddle, spray skirt, and 20-liter dry bag.
Guided Experience: Benefit from the expertise of a qualified and experienced guide fluent in English, enhancing your journey with insightful knowledge.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept bookings for our daily tours several weeks or months in advance except for the bigger groups.

For visitors arriving by car, please be aware that there is complimentary parking available near our starting point, subject to availability.
All participants engaging in kayaking activities are obligated to wear a life jacket at all times while paddling, with no exceptions.
Essential items to bring along include:
Picnic lunch comprising sandwiches, vegetables, fruits, sweets, and snacks
Minimum 2 liters of water per person
Long-sleeve t-shirt for sun protection (lycra or similar material)
Swimsuit and sandals or water shoes (flip flops are also acceptable)
Towel, hat/cap, sunglasses, and sun cream
Optionally, consider bringing a foam mat for the beach, a book, goggles or a diving mask, flippers, and a camera.
Remember to pack any necessary personal medications.
